As most of the populace of the local environment of the college are from Socio–Economic Disadvantage Group (SEDG), the teaching and non–teaching faculty of the college have collective decided to carry out outreach programmes to the SEDG of the populace of the local environment. For the academic session 2018 – 19, the college have started “BOOK BANK,” where the faculty of the college collected used books – text, reference, school book, etc. The books were then distributed to the needy students of the college. They were also given the opportunity to come to the college and get in during the regular hour of the college. The identities of the recipient were not disclosed.

For the academic session 2019 – 20, the college has started “CLOTH BANK,” where the faculty of the college collected both new and used clothes. The clothes were then distributed to the needy students of the college. They were also given the opportunity to come to the college and get in during the regular hour of college. The identities of the recipient were not disclosed.


In the academic session 2020 – 2021, the college merged the two Banks into one entity called “College Social Responsibility” where needy students were given both cloth and books.
